River House - Eagle River/Conover, Wisconsin

This was my second time staying at the Conover river home and will continue to be my first place to try and stay when up in the area. I really appreciate the peacefulness and nostalgia of the home. The fact that the home is dog friendly is a definite benefit. The home is well cleaned with everything needed for a comfortable get away. Thank you very much and will be looking forward to our next get away to the area .

We had such a great time here. The perfect place to stay for a nice relaxing weekend. This place has everything you need. Also very appreciative for allowing us to bring our dog. It was nice having such a big yard for her to roam around in. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful vacation home on the river. The property was clean and well equipped, and we loved the cool 70’s décor. The kitchen included everything that we needed for our stay.Lots of things to see and do in the Conover/ Eagle River area. We look forward to staying here again.

Great super clean house with everything you need -- kayaks and canoes and life vests and all, plus plenty of towels and soap and pillows and all that. Cozy and comfortable. WIFI went out 2 days into week-long stay and was not restored, so we left early. Sound of river was intoxicating!

We loved the River House. The interior is as cozy as ever - feels like a time capsule in the best way possible - like visiting the grandparents’ house and forgetting all your worries. The yard is spacious enough for soccer, hide and seek, fishing, lounging, canoeing, kayaking, and s’mores by the fire pit. We did it all in just two nights! Owners were very responsive when we asked for an ETA on getting the power back on. A huge storm blew over and many homes nearby lost trees. We only lost power for a few hours and it was no big deal because we drove into town for coffee and played outside! Thank you for a lovely break from reality and a glimpse into the opportunities around northern WI. We hope to see it in the winter someday and we’ll return to this house for sure!
